Dermcare's Journey and Success Story Keep Rolling Onward to its 30th Year and Beyond

A Filipina woman has a strong character. She sets her goals and stick to them until she achieves them all. She can do things against all adversity and opposition, thus success is never impossible to a Filipina.

These characters exactly define the President and CEO of Dermcare, Mrs. Zenaida Palisoc.

Since the 1980's, she has been creating and formulating beauty products specifically for skin whitening and she was selling them directly to her relatives and friends.

In 1990, when direct selling became a huge hit to the market; Mrs. Palisoc together with her late husband, Mr. Joselito, expanded the business and opened up the very first branch of Dermcare known as Dermcare Skin Clinic and Pharmacy. 

From Taft Ave in the early 90's; they branched out to different parts of the country, saturating Metro Manila and reaching as far as Cagayan de Oro, Pangasinan, Lucena City. It was also during the time when they gave birth to the Dermcare Body Shop, which offers wider range of hair, skin, body and beauty products.

The year 2000 was the year when Dermcare Professional Skin, Hair & Spa continuous to reach wider market in Cebu, Pangasinan, and more in Metro Manila.

In 2010, Dermcare opened in high-end malls such as  SM North EDSA The Block and Ayala Center Cebu with their new store concept - Dermcare Luxe.

Since then, Dermcare has become even more unstoppable - innovating, developing, strengthening the brand, introducing something new and exciting for every Filipino, and just before they reach the third decade in the industry, they already have 120 branches nationwide.

They didn't stop at the peak of their success, instead, it fuels up their drive to serve more people by partnering with companies and institutions - both private and public - such as PAGIBIG and major BPO companies.

Continuing Dermcare Advocacy with Kwentong Filipina

To empower more Filipinas and elevate their lives, Dermcare has launched the digital platform for Filipinas called Kwentong Pilipina.

This platform shares inspiring stories of Filipinas who overcame challenges and adversity. These contributors will also share the lessons they learned from their experiences.

Aside from stories, Filipinas will also gain access to exclusive content about health, career, women’s rights, beauty, lifestyle, and other relevant content. These will be coming from different individuals and organizations who are advocates of women empowerment.

Finally, viewers can become a part of a community where they can interact with likeminded Filipinas. This will give them a place to share their own stories, pieces of advice, and ask questions to their fellow members.

Skincare Made for the Modern Filipina

The Wellness Innovators Corporation, in partnership with the Dermcare Group of Companies, will be launching an innovative skincare line this December.

The new skincare line is designed and manufactured in partnership with Japanese beauty experts. This new skincare line is developed especially for working Filipinas who encounter a lot of glow in their daily lives and do not have the time for multi-step, time-consuming skincare regimens.

According to the company, glow suckers are elements in a Filipina’s life that cause damage to her skin. These elements range from harsh weather conditions, pollution, personal and professional stressors, and unhealthy habits.

When glow takes over a Filipina’s life, it creates chemical and biological reactions that cause the skin to dry up, have acne breakouts, and age prematurely.

This inspired the people at Wellness Innovators Corporation and Dermcare to design and develop a skincare line for the working Filipina.

“We believe that the combination of our experience in Filipina beauty, together with the technology of Japanese skin innovators, we have developed an excellent product that can help Filipinas reveal their radiant and beautiful skin,” said Mrs. Zenaida Palisoc, CEO and President of the Dermcare Group of Companies when asked about the new product line.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nicole Narvato, Marketing Manager of Wellness Innovators Corporation, stated that the new products are rich in antioxidants and other essential nutrients that can revitalize, nourish, and protect the Filipina skin.

In addition to its healing, nourishing, and protective attributes, this new skincare line promises integration in the working Filipina’s beauty regimen.
